Day 2Ubud – Bedugul – Tanah Lot

You begin to leave your footprints in the home of the Gods when visiting places of Come2Indonesia’s fantastic route. The first site will be the Taman Ayun Temple (founded in the seventeenth century), located in the village of Mengwi. Until 1891 this was the seat of a powerful Gelgel Dynasty, which is surrounded by a moat that looks like a garden sanctuary. This explains the term “taman” which means garden. Penyawangan temple is a place for worship or other sacred ceremonies. From Taman Ayun, our compass is directed towards Jatiluwih, where no doubt rejoice and the admiring a beautiful view of rice terraces is on our itinerary, that spans the landscape of Southern Bali. Jatiluwih name consists of two words, Jati & Luwih which means beautiful, good and special. Without doubt, this place not only has a beautiful name, the beauty really is reflected in its landscape. Leaving Jatiluwih, we will move on to Bedugul where we visit the Ulun Danu Temple Bratan, the famous temple stands on a small promontory located in the shore of Lake Bratan. This temple has a beautiful scenery with the lake and the mountains as backdrop sight. It is without a doubt one of the most photogenic temples throughout Indonesia. This temple is dedicated to Dewi Danu, the goddess of all waters. We close the route with this fantastic visit and we will end the day watching the sunset in the most famous and photographed temple in Bali, Pura Tanah Lot. Broken off from the ground on a stone pedestal sculpted by the incoming tides, the lonely black towers of Tanah Lot and tufts of foliage scattered over the cliffs recall the delicacy of a Chinese painting. Pura Tanah Lot and the Temple of Earth at sea was built in the sixteenth century. Then we return to the hotel.

Day 3Ubud – The Mother Temple of Besakih

On the third day of our tour, we visit the Mother Temple of the island, the Besakih Mother Temple and its surroundings. We will march along the coast to reach Kusamba, a fishing village, where colorful Batangas Prahus dot the beaches of black sand. We will see the process of the making of salt in a traditional method. We continue our journey to the east coast to reach the Goa Lawah, a cave “guarded” by thousands of bats where their bodies are concentrated in so little space that the surface of the top wall seems an irregular muddy field. Goa Lawah is a sacred temple surrounded with protective altars at the entrance. During trip to the Mother Temple of Besakih, we will enjoy a magnificent landscape in Bukit Jambul, crested in the hill, with a breathtaking view of nature full of rice fields and tropical plants. We go down the hill and we start walking to reach the main temple, the largest temple of the island, the Besakih Mother Temple. The temple is located on the slopes of the Agung volcano, which last explosion was in 1963, the day when thousands of Balinese were celebrating one of the most important days in the Hindu calendar. This temple was founded in the eighth century as a terraced sanctuary in honor of the gods of Mount Agung. Today comprises 22 major complexes with more than eighty small temples. We ended our tour with the visit of the Court of Justice in Antigua Kertagosa. This is an open bale, beautifully laid in a trench. It is decorated with exquisite examples of paintings and architecture of Klungkung Kemasan.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.

It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however.
